Hurricane Katrina damaged the office building that C&M Medical Services occupied on 8th Street in Metairie in 2005, and, levee breaches caused flooding to the First Floor. It was decided that it would be more cost effective to demolish the existing building and to re-build. The Owner requested a new
Mathes Brierre Architects programmed and planned the Third Floor for the C&M Medical Services’ Administrative Offices. The Second Floor was constructed as raw tenant space until leased. The First Floor consists of a Lobby and Parking.
The Owner mandated that this building have the construction and finishes typical of any Class “A” building in New Orleans. With raised panel mahogany doors, high ceilings, and spacious offices, this building achieved that status.
